Welcome!

Fifteen years in the making: "Little Sisters and Me" began as simple paintbrush strokes of long hair and plain little faces on a worn out wooden board that the Artist, Donna Hellmann saw as a Vision in her heart! 

They have long flowing hair, almost like waves in the ocean, representing the ups and downs and the ebb and flow of Life!  Their eyes are slanted downward because they represent humility, yet they are not weak! 

And slowly, but surely these little humble, yet brave little women began to take on their own personalities! 

They became: Joy, (the one on the left with bright red hair) that giggles and laughs a lot, yet hurts when you hurt, and full of compassion; then there is Hope in the middle, with blonde hair (rather artsy with a sideways smile, sometimes with red or purple streaks in her hair) who always gives encouragement to those struggling and has Words of affirmation; and then there is Faith (on the right) who is wisdom-filled, strong and bold in spirit, and always the one to turn to when you feel like you have lost your way.

 Donna, the Artist, has been inspired by so many Little Sisters in her Life and she wanted these paintings to reflect how beautiful Little Sisters in the Lord really are to each other and what a treasure they are to "Me"!
